Owners Action have been appointed as European marketing agents by International Timeshare Refund Action (ITRA) to generate and promote consumer awareness regarding a proposed Group Litigation against RCI Europe and others.
Having realised the extent of the problems faced by timeshare owners, International Timeshare Refund Action (ITRA) are now pursuing the coordination of a claim to the courts on behalf of timeshare owners who can justify due cause for full compensation, distress and damages on the grounds that their timeshare purchase was not of merchandisable quality.

The timeshare 'experience' has been very disappointing after the initial 2/3 years.
Availability of resort and timing of availability have been difficult to meet our requests.
The timeshare has not proven to be the investment opportunity presented and has certainly not proven to be cheaper and more flexible than 'package' holidays. Maintenance costs have risen unacceptably and charges by RCI for exchange and membership are not value-for-money.
The major issue now is that the agreement with Diamond seems to be in perpetuity despite never having signed any contract to such effect. The re-sale of timeshares appears to be a myth!
